Overview:
The Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) has announced a fantastic opportunity for aspiring apprentices with a total of 5647 vacancies under the Apprentice Act, 1961. This recruitment drive aims to select Act Apprentices for various trades through a merit-based selection process.

Eligibility Criteria

• Age Limit: 15–24 years (as of December 3, 2024) with age relaxation per government norms.
• Educational Qualification:
• Must have passed Matriculation (10th) or equivalent with at least 50% marks.
• National Trade Certificate (ITI) in the relevant trade, issued by the National Council for Vocational Training or equivalent.

Selection Process

Selection is merit-based, determined by 10th-grade marks and ITI results. In case of a tie, preference is given to older candidates and those who completed Matriculation earlier. Shortlisted candidates will undergo document verification.

3. Application Fee:
• General/OBC: ₹100 plus GST and processing charges.
• SC/ST/PWD: Exempt from application fee but must pay processing charges.

   Submit your application by December 3, 2024.

Stipend

Apprentices will receive a monthly stipend as per the Apprentice Act, 1961.
